Executive Education

Globalization isn't coming. It's already here.

The Center for International Business is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Latin America Institute of Business. This new two-week program based at the Athens, Ohio campus will allow students to select from three concentrations: Corporate Finance, Management, or Marketing.

No matter the size, all businesses are impacted by the increasing global nature of industry. Business executives, regardless of their previous education level, often find they need to expand their expertise by integrating their professional experience with current business research and concepts.

The Ohio University College of Business offers carefully focused seminars that provide executives with information they can apply to their professions directly. These seminars are usually custom-designed to address specific current principles and practices. Other seminars are “refreshers,” covering subjects that are traditionally part of an MBA curriculum.

Executive business seminars are especially well received by foreign executives whose organizations want to keep current on how the global business world is changing, allow for professional development and heighten their knowledge of developing relationships with U.S. businesses in the global market. Executives return to work with state-of-the-art skills that can be applied immediately.

Executive business seminars provide access to key knowledge for professional development and to become more competitive in the global market. Through their interaction with faculty and other Ohio University students, these seminar students learn to identify business problems and analyze them in a cross-cultural context.
