Biography

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Freireich received her Bachelor of Specialized Studies with concentrations in Psychology, Sociology, and Communication from Ohio University, University College. She became a two-time bobcat alumnus from Ohio University, where she completed her MA in Higher Education, with a focus in College Student Personnel.  During her graduate studies, she worked as a Graduate Assistant in both the Career & Leadership Development Center (CLDC) and the Office of Career Management (OCM).  Her responsibilities included meeting and coaching students during appointments, planning career-related events, supervising an undergraduate social media and graphic design intern, building a comprehensive marketing strategy for the CLDC, collaborating across campus with various stakeholders, restructuring and managing the Bobcat CareerLink resume review process, overseeing and improving the application and nomination process for the Leadership Awards Gala, and acting as a contributing writer to the CLDC WordPress blog. Gracie has a passion for supporting students through the career development process.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time cooking and sharing meals with her friends and family.  Gracie resides in Athens, OH with her boyfriend, Chris and cat, Marcellus Wallace.
