I can provide support to faculty, staff, and students by recommending technology-based solutions that improve ongoing operations, facilitate completion of projects, and support faculty in teaching and research. I am typically included in the design/development process to ensure that all technical and theoretical aspects are possible and managed properly, including simulators, computers, audio-visual equipment, pedagogy, and quality matters.

I can analyze, consult, design, and develop techniques for the dissemination of information via the web, develop and provide training to a variety of constituencies on the utilization of technology in instruction, research, and projects within education, resolve computing problems, consult on the acquisition and use of technological resources, and serve as a liaison to the universities Information Technology planning efforts within the Academic Technologies department.

My position requires thorough knowledge in computer technology, audio-visual communication, and other instructional technology equipment. I am also expected to assist in the course development process to ensure that all technical aspects are possible and managed properly, including but not limited to; learning management systems, computer requirements, quality matters, and educational technology for faculty/student use.
