Thursday, October 29 2015 12:00am

The Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre will host its 18th annual Schey Sales Symposium on Thurs., Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m in Baker Ballroom. This year’s theme will be Relationship Excellence on the Front Line, with speakers in Athens, Ohio focusing on how to work effectively with the Millennial Generation. Dr. Adam Rapp, intergenerational engagement expert, will present research from thousands of millennials and managers to present breakthrough insights on leading, recruiting, training, and motivating millennial hires.

Prior to and after the event, Dr. Adam Rapp will be available for interviews both live on-air and for subsequent articles and features. Dr. Rapp can speak to the trends, challenges, and overall lifecycle of working effectively with the Millennial Generation.

Other participants of Relationship Excellence on the Front Line include Ohio University speakers Dr. Chris Crawford; Tim Reynolds, former vice president, Whirlpool Corporation; and Tom Marchese, who transformed companies such as Hershey’s, Crayola, Elmer’s, and Bob Evans.

The Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre was created in 1997 by a group of successful Ohio University alumni who recognized the need for sales education. It was the first center of its kind. In 2006, the center was renamed the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, thanks to the generosity of the Schey family. The University Sales Center Alliance, the Sales Education Foundation, and the National Conference in Sales Management accredit the program.
