After the bows and ribbons are put away, retailers are shifting to focus on results. This year, retailers targeted year-end marketing efforts to gain and retain customers through personalization in marketing, in-store experiences, and online purchasing. As the holiday retail season ends, College of Business expert Alexa Fox is available for interviews and comments concerning what worked--and what didn’t work--for retailers this holiday season.
Alexa Fox, Ph.D., assistant professor of marketing, focuses her research on digital marketing, user-generated content, online reviews, consumer behavior, neuromarketing, and online privacy. Fox can provide expert insight into marketing results of the holiday season and upcoming marketing trends in 2016. Prior to joining academia, Alexa worked for strategic marketing and online marketing firms, as well as a nonprofit organization, where she conducted marketing research, created online copy, and developed marketing, social media, and branding strategies.
