Media Alert: Ohio University’s Sales Cup Announces New Sponsor

Today, SalesFuel and the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre from Ohio University announced a sponsorship agreement for the Schey Sales Centre’s 5th Annual Ohio Sales Cup. The Ohio Sales Cup, an internal sales competition, determines which teams represent the Schey at the National Collegiate Sales Competition in April.

This year’s Ohio Sales Cup will be held Saturday, Feb. 20 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Copeland Hall on Ohio University’s campus. Media are welcome to attend the final round watch party and awards ceremony in 410 Copeland Hall from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Lee Smith, CEO and owner of SalesFuel and a `88 Ohio University alumnae. “Business needs smart, hard-working and ethical salespeople to prosper. That’s why I believe the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre at Ohio University is a model that should be emulated by universities across the country,” he added.

With more than 15 competitors and 20 volunteers from the Schey’s Professional Sales Advisory Board, this is the largest OHIO Sales Cup in history. Advisory Board members are serving as judges and mentors.

“We are truly grateful for the support of our Bobcat alumni network,” said Adam Rapp, executive director of the Schey Sales Centre. “It’s through sponsorships like this from SalesFuel that we’re able to develop the next generation of sales leaders from Ohio University.”

Results of the competition will be released Monday, Feb. 22, 2016.
