Our high standards. Your higher education.
Less than five percent of business schools are AACSB accredited. We’re part of that elite group.
Ohio University's College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the benchmark for the best business education in the world.
Being an accredited college of business is something that’s earned. And it doesn’t come easy. Every five years a comprehensive review is held by OHIO’s College of Business, its peer colleges, and an accreditation committee to ensure continuous improvement. AACSB-accredited business schools are assessed on their mission, faculty qualifications, curriculum and strategic plan for the next five years. It’s a strict evaluation and not every business school receives this recognition, but that’s what makes it valuable.
Of more than 16,000 business schools worldwide, less than five percent are AACSB accredited, and less than one percent are accredited at the undergraduate, graduate and accountancy levels.
“We hold ourselves to the highest standard of business education so that our students can become the next generation of business leaders. Through our dedicated faculty and vision for the college, we deliver on this promise.”
Hugh Sherman, dean of OHIO’s College of Business
