The Ohio University College of Business and Scripps College of Communication are proud to host the inaugural OHIO Communication Conference. As an OHIO student, you're encouraged to connect with employers hiring for roles in:

Tuesday, January 23

Prep Workshop

6pm-8pm
Schoonover 145

Learn ahout how to maximize your experience at recruiting events. Career Coach Gracie Ede and the College of Business Career & Student Success Center team will host a workshop that provides you with an opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming OHIO Communications Conference. During this session, you will learn how to start, hold, and maintain authentic conversations and professional relationships with employers.

Workshop attendees are encouraged to wear Business Casual and bring their OHIO ID for check-in at the event.

Thursday, January 25

Employer Expo

3pm – 6pm
Baker University Center Ballroom

Employers will host tables at a career fair in the Baker University Center Ballroom on the fourth floor. Join approximately 30 employers to learn about open internships and full-time positions in their organizations. See who's coming and download the employer guide.

 

Friday, January 26

Interviews

9am – 2pm
Copeland Hall and Schoonover Center

After meeting you at the expo or networking event, some employers may wish to interview you during a dedicated time on Jan. 26. On short notice, be prepared to meet with recruiters throughout the day.

Speaker Series

10am-12pm
Baker University Center, Ballroom A

Throughout the day, the Career & Student Success Center will also host presentations to provide you with insight into possible career tracks and industry topics.
