Biography

Melissa Davies, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Sport Administration at Ohio University. Previously, she spent five years teaching Sport Management at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Davies graduated earned a Ph.D. in Sport Administration with a minor in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from University of Northern Colorado. Davies completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Sport Management at California University of Pennsylvania where she played NCAA golf. Outside of school, Davies has worked as a Director of Marketing for an Independent League Baseball Team and as a Recreation Programmer in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
