A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Ede received her Bachelor of Specialized Studies with concentrations in Psychology, Sociology, and Communication from Ohio University's University College. She became a two-time Ohio University graduate when she completed her Master of Education in College Student Personnel. During her graduate studies, she worked as a graduate assistant in both the Career & Leadership Development Center (CLDC) and the COB's Career & Student Success Center (CSSC). Gracie’s favorite parts of her job are teaching the BA 2000 Career Strategies course, supporting students through their internships to earn credit, and supervising the Peer Consultant Team. Gracie has a passion for helping students through the career development process, so they feel confident in continuously developing personally and professionally post-graduation. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies and spending time cooking and sharing meals with her friends and family. Gracie resides in Athens with her husband, Chris, and cat, Marcellus Wallace.
