Biography

Kim Jordan is a Lecturer for the Management Department and Center for Professional Communication in the College of Business at Ohio University and Director of the Strategic Leadership Certificate (SLC) offered across the university through the Walter Center for Strategic Leadership. Kim teaches BA 2500 Strategic Business Communication and MGT 2590 Strategic Leadership On-boarding. 

Kim has worked in health care, government, education, and the insurance industry, including the following employers: George Washington University Hospital, Amerigroup Insurance, the United States Navy, George Mason University, Catholic University, and Montgomery College. She has dual masters degrees in nursing and business (MSN/MBA) from Johns Hopkins University and dual bachelor degrees in Nursing (University of North Florida) and International Affairs (Florida State University) and has lived and worked abroad for over a decade of her life in Spain, Bahrain, and Japan. 

Kim is interested in the intersection of communication, leadership, and storytelling. When not teaching, she enjoys long walks, good books, local food, and quiet time with her family and friends (including the furry kind).
