Honors Internship Spotlight

Jared Dudas, a senior in the Honors Program, had the opportunity to work as a Premium Sales and Service Intern with the Dallas Cowboys football team. On the job, he gathered knowledge of the Cowboy’s sales process; managed prospect suites used for stadium events, and managed sideline passes used for client entertainers.

On Saturday, Feb. 20, 15 competitors and 20 judges and corporate partners gathered for the 5th Annual OHIO Sales Cup, sponsored by SalesFuel. It was the largest—and the closest—OHIO Sales Cup yet. Dave Baxter, ’17 won by merely 1/10 of a point.

Media Alert: Ohio University’s Sales Cup Announces New Sponsor

Today, SalesFuel and the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre from Ohio University announced a sponsorship agreement for the Schey Sales Centre’s 5th Annual Ohio Sales Cup. The Ohio Sales Cup, an internal sales competition, determines which teams represent the Schey at the National Collegiate Sales Competition in April.

Successful entrepreneurs, OHIO alumni inspire students, dole out advice

This year’s two Konneker Medal recipients returned to campus last week to share equal parts inspiration and advice with students from the Center for Entrepreneurship, a partnership between OHIO’s College of Business and Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, and the Russ College of Engineering and Technology.
