Recognizing her outstanding commitment to leadership and mentorship, the OHIO Master of Sports Administration program has awarded Carolyne Savini (’06) with the second annual Excellence in Mentoring Award. Throughout this past year, she has mentored, MSA ’19, Zac Lazzaro.
“She is an excellent example of what it means to be a member of the OHIO Family," Lazzaro said.
Savini was a member of the 2006 class. Soon after graduating, she began her career at Turnkey Sports & Entertainment, serving as the Managing Director. Now, she is a full-time mom to her two sons and serves as a professor at Temple University and Georgetown University in the sports management department. Each year, Savini contributes her time by coming back to Ohio University to speak to the MSA program students about careers, her time in the program, and professional development.
Lazzaro, along with the MSA Program, would like to thank Savini for her continued support for the program.
