College of Business Master’s in Athletics Administration Program announces partnership with 8to18

MAA program students to gain experience with comprehensive scheduling technology built for athletic administrators

ATHENS, OH (August 14, 2017) The Master’s in Athletic Administration program (MAA) at Ohio University is excited to announce a new relationship with 8to18, the leader in providing digital solutions for scheduling and communication of athletic programs and events. Through this partnership, students in the MAA Program are able to utilize 8to18’s “AD Assistant” tool, a comprehensive scheduling platform built by athletic administrators, to learn how to easily and effectively manage logistics for athletic facilities and events, including calendars, transportation, workers, contracts, and more.

“Our partnership with 8to18 is an extension of the MAA program’s emphasis on applied course projects that develop practical skills to tackle the growing complexity of managing interscholastic athletic programs,” said Aaron Wright, MAA program lecturer. “By using 8to18’s digital solutions in our online classes, we are able to give our students experience with leading-edge tools and prepare them for taking the next step in their careers.”
