Undergraduate Institution: Ohio University

Why did you choose Ohio University's MBA program?

It was the right program at the right time. I knew that by getting my MBA, I would propel myself to the next level of dentistry. I would better understand the business side of dentistry.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

The international trip and building relationships with each of my classmates in the cohort.

What was your favorite MBA class and why?

Accounting. It challenged me and really gave me skills I can immediately apply to my life!

What has been the most difficult part of your transition into graduate school?

Understanding the different studying techniques. My undergraduate degree was strictly biological sciences, so the approach to business was much different and took a bit of adjustment.

What would you tell someone considering Ohio University's One-Year MBA program?

DO IT. You will make friendships that will last a lifetime. I know now, I have people that I can depend on for years to come. I also recognize that this program propelled me to my next step.

What are your career goals? How did you figure out what you wanted to do?

I want to become a general dentist, possibly focusing in aesthetics or sports dentistry. I have had this goal for almost six years and recently was accepted into dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. The OU COB program really helped me to excel in my interviews and prepared for my next step.

Where is your favorite place to hang out on campus/in Athens?

Jackie O’s. It has the best food and brews in town.
