Taylor Woodford is a junior at Ohio University in the Honors Tutorial College program for Business Administration. She is pursuing a marketing major, a Spanish minor, and is working toward a sales certificate through the Schey Sales Centre. In her first two years at Ohio University, Taylor began involvement in the Schey Sales Centre and quickly stepped into multiple leadership roles. She was also a founding member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority on campus, for which she is now Chapter President, leading an organization of 150 women representing every college at Ohio University. In the College of Business, Taylor works as the student marketing director in the Center for Entrepreneurship, giving her experience with event marketing for the various workshops, professional development events, and guest speakers that the Center hosts each year. This past summer, Taylor interned with Alliance Data Systems in Columbus, OH where she was able to combine her marketing and quantitative skills, and apply her knowledge to the financial services industry. This experience was a huge growth opportunity, and allowed her to stretch her analytical side in addition to her naturally creative approach. In the future, Taylor hopes to pursue a career in advertising, specifically digital consulting. Her ultimate goal is to become a leader in the advertising industry known for ethical leadership practices.
