The AIS Advisory Board brings industry expertise to the MIS major
The Advisory Board is made up of MIS executives who provide industry insight into the MIS curriculum and advises the MIS faculty of current trends and developments in the field to improve the relevance of the MIS curriculum. The MIS Advisory Board also interacts with students to provide an opportunity to meet current industry professionals, to gather feedback for the MIS faculty and to provide students with internship and post-graduation employment opportunities.
Wells Fargo Corporation, Charlotte, NC
Randy graduated from Ohio University in 1981 with a BBA in Computer Systems in Business. He is currently a Senior Recruiting Consultant for the Wells Fargo Corporation and is based out of Charlotte, NC. Randy started his career with the Ohio Department of Transportation as a programmer in Columbus, OH. He left ODOT and pursued a 13 year IT consulting career with Origin Technology, where he was exposed to various industries and companies. He began has a developer and was promoted up to a Professional Services Manager.
In 1996, Randy joined Nationwide Insurance as a Recruiting Consultant where he was involved in all aspects of their recruiting efforts. He moved to Charlotte, NC joining Wells Fargo in 1998, where he is active with College Recruiting, Technology Recruiting, and various other recruiting projects such as applicant tracking system, vendor procurement, merger integration, and diversity recruiting. In 2011, Randy moved to Seabrook Island, SC and is still working with Wells Fargo.
In addition to his Wells Fargo career, Randy and his wife, Nancy, established Coastal Getaways of South Carolina in 2006. Coastal Getaways of SC, LLC is a rental management company designed specifically for the independent property owner. They represent each owner within the parameters they set and arrange for the best property fit for their rental guest. As of 2018, Coastal Getaway of SC is one of the largest rental agencies on Seabrook Island, SC.
Randy has been involved with Ohio University in the Central Ohio Alumni Chapter (Columbus, OH), Charlotte Alumni Chapter (Charlotte, NC), Low Country Chapter (Charleston, South Carolina), was president of the College of Business Society of Alumni & Friends, and has served on Ohio University’s National Alumni Board of Directors. He has been a member of the MIS Advisory Board since its inception.
Senior Manager Deloitte Advisory, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Columbus, OH
Jim graduated from Ohio University in 2007 with a BBA in Management Information Systems and Finance. He then started his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Consultant developing in the area of Risk and Controls Assurance primarily serving public audit clients across the mid-west region. He is currently a Senior Manager within Deloitte Advisory and continues to serve large public external audit and internal audit clients focusing on addressing risks through the assessment of General IT and Business Process Controls. He has extensive experience in developing and assessing SAP, HANA database, and Oracle database related control frameworks as well as delivering related trainings. Jim primarily serves clients within the Consumer and Industrial Products industry, including retailers and manufacturers, as well as clients within the Energy and Resources industry.
Vice President, Pharmaceutical and Specialty Distribution IT, Cardinal Health, Columbus, OH
Tim graduated from Ohio University in 1993 with a BBA in both Economics and Finance. Since graduating, Tim has accumulated over 20 years of business technology experience in various industries including health care, distribution, and manufacturing. He is currently the Vice President of Information Technology at Cardinal Health in Columbus, Ohio. Tim and his team are responsible for the technology strategy, planning, solution implementation, and business application support underpinning the core businesses of the Pharmaceutical and Specialty Distribution divisions. Prior to Cardinal Health, Tim spent several years in technology consulting and management functions in various leadership roles.
Tim lives in Delaware, Ohio, and enjoys spending time with his wife (also an Ohio University graduate) and kids.
Tom is a 1985 College of Business graduate of Ohio University. His career spans more than 30 years of business and technology experience. He started as a Business Analyst in the manufacturing industry at WearEver-ProctorSilex, moved into IT technical leadership roles in the retail industry at Circuit City's corporate offices in Richmond, VA, spent time in the IT/Management consulting industry with his own consulting business in Columbus, OH, then moved into IT executive leadership roles in the Health Care industry the past 20 years at both Cardinal Health and the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He specializes in leading large scale transformations, project & program management, and mergers & acquisitions. He is currently responsible for the Wexner Medical Center's Health Plan’s technology strategy and operations.
Tom was a past chairperson of the College of Business MIS Advisory Board from 2007-2017.

Rob Moyer is the Co-Founder and President of Agility Partners, LLC an IT recruiting and consulting company headquartered in Columbus, OH. Founded in 2017 in his spare bedroom, Rob (and his partner Alan also a Bobcat) self-funded AP and immediately began to disrupt the industry by building a proprietary referral-based technology platform (Connect) and a technology training bootcamp (Evolve). In 2018, AP did $4.1m in annual sales and ended the year at 52 employees with projections to double in size over the next 12 months. Rob’s company offers their services to some of the nation’s largest enterprise organizations including Cardinal Health, Stanley Black & Decker, Wendy’s, Safelite, and Express just to name a few.
Senior Vice President, Head of Personal and Student Lending Division at PNC
Naimesh is head of the Personal and Student Lending division. He has accountability for the overall management of the $6B portfolio, product development and existing product management as well as the overall P&L. Responsibilities also include strategic planning, sales, marketing, operations, risk management, project execution and customer experience. Prior to his current role, Naimesh served in the Chief Operating Officer Role for Retail Lending. During his time in the COO role, Naimesh was responsible for business strategy and planning, program management, strategic vendor management and operational risk management. Prior to the Lending COO role, Naimesh was the head of credit card for a year and previously spent time as the Credit Card Chief Operating Officer. Naimesh has been with PNC for 14 years. Naimesh is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and daughter.

Executive Director, EY, Pittsburgh, PA
Bill received his BBA from Ohio University with a degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Accounting. He began his career in public accounting working for Deloitte & Touche in Pittsburgh, PA. After 2 years with Deloitte, Bill took a position with EY. Today Bill is an Executive Director in the Risk Assurance practice at the Pittsburgh office. He is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Risk Professional (CRP). Bill has over 25 years of IT audit and advisory services related experience in a wide range of industries such as health care, financial services/banking, retail, consumer products/manufacturing, real estate, entertainment, and aerospace/defense. His technical experience includes topics such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) application security and controls, cyber security, data analytics, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and service organization controls (SOC) reporting.

Suzanne has over 20 years in IT. She has held positions as an Oracle Manufacturing functional consultant, a relationship manager for a Fortune 10 client and now serve as an operations and shared services lead for CGI. Prior to CGI she spent time with India and Chinese based IT companies providing distributed IT development and support services to US based global clients. Before becoming involved in IT Suzanne spent a number of years in manufacturing as Director of Operations for a German based provider of safety equipment.

Jim is a 2010 graduate of the Ohio University College of Business. Jim holds a BBA in Analytics and Information Systems and Finance. Upon graduating, Jim went to work for Deloitte & Touche in Columbus, OH as a Consultant in the Risk Advisory Services practice. He spent six years at Deloitte before moving to Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in 2016. In 2018, Jim took the role as Director of Business Analytics at Prestress Services Industries, Inc.
Jim has been a member of the Analytics and Information Systems Advisory Board since 2015. He lives in Columbus with his Wife, Katie, and Son, Jack. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration at Ohio State's Fisher College of Business. As an active Alumni, Jim helps mentor undergraduate students and provides industry insights to AIS faculty.
